If you will be absent, please call or stop by our office. If you do not attend and did not cancel, we may make your place available to others.
Please go to the stable office. All students must check in at the office every time they attend, and before they ride. Lessons commence in the school horse aisle, either with a few minutes of ground instruction (beginner children) or with students collecting their horses and proceeding into the riding ring. (For 6 & 7 year olds, the lesson is equally split between a section in the stable and another in the riding ring).
You may schedule either over the telephone, email or in person at the office. Please contact us about a week before you would like to start. Payment is due before you ride. Riding lessons start at 6 years old.
We teach lessons year round. Lesson times vary with Judgement Farms and Giddyup. See the Lesson Schedule at Grande Prairie or contact your trainer for more details.
Riders should have a riding helmet, riding boots, gloves, and a crop and should wear long pants. Riding pants and half chaps are recommended. Clothing should fit snugly and not present and entanglement risk. We can lend new students a helmet for their first lesson.
Lessons are group or private and we organize these according to the age and experience of the student
Judgement Farms and Giddyup teach English (hunter / jumper) lessons to children starting at 6years old and adults from beginning riders to the most experienced!
